Thanks to the use of new materials and new production processes, Torpado Impudent has improved the behavior of the Matador, its reactivity and its driving precision.
In order to meet the needs of our professional athletes we have lengthened the reach and shortened the stem. The steering angle has been optimized: 69 ° for the version with 100mm travel, 68 ° for the version with 120mm travel. The seat tube angle has also been changed: 74 ° for the version with 100mm travel, 73 ° for the version with 120mm travel.
These features enhance the driving experience and feel of the new Matador.
Torpado Impudent has further developed the Matador suspension scheme: the joint has been eliminated from the sliders, allowing them to work in flexion while maintaining the progressive characteristics of the quadrilateral system of the previous model.
The new Matador is equipped with a 1x groupset: thanks to this feature we have been able to create rear stays with dimensions, shapes and characteristics that make the bicycle more reactive and able to transfer all the power and force without dispersion, as well as making it more agile.
Particular attention was paid to the design. The provision for internal cable routing has been improved to ensure a cleaner look and make assembly and maintenance easier.
Matador LT 120mm: the more open head tube angle gives the bike great handling in Single Tracks and Down Hill.The angle of the seat tube has an inclination that adapts optimally to long distances.
Matador ST 100mm: it is the perfect bike to face competitions thanks to the dedicated travel and its racing geometries.The Matador ST 100mm is the ideal compromise for Cross Country racing.
Matador X: everything in this model has been taken to extremes. Lightness, reactivity, agility and driveability have been expressed at the highest levels to make this model a real Race Machine.
