list: €250/year for up to 50 bikes, and €500/year for unlimited bikes.
2. How long does it usually take to sell an item on EurekaBike?
Sales on marketplaces can vary widely in terms of timing. On EurekaBike, sales can happen
quickly, but they often take time, sometimes even months. Some items might not sell because
of low-quality ads, niche products, or prices that are too high. On EurekaBike, we guarantee
organic visibility to an audience genuinely interested in the world of cycling. We don't engage
in mass advertising, so the contacts you receive are highly qualified and genuinely interested
in your listing, leading to a much higher conversion rate compared to generalist marketplaces
or those that rely heavily on paid advertising.
3. What can I sell on EurekaBike?
On EurekaBike, you can post ads for bicycles and over 300 other types of cycling-related
products, whether new, used, or for free. EurekaBike is a vertical marketplace focused on the
cycling sector, covering a wide range of products: complete bicycles, bike frames, accessories,
clothing, components, and much more. We accept both new and used products, as long as
they are in good condition and comply with our guidelines. Each listing is subject to a
verification process to ensure it meets EurekaBike's standards.
4. Can I give away an item for free on EurekaBike?
Absolutely! EurekaBike promotes cycling culture, especially among younger people. We
understand that bike products can be technical and expensive. For this reason, we encourage
our more experienced users to post in the "For Free" section, making available technical gear
and clothing they no longer use. This way, we help young people and those facing economic
challenges to enjoy cycling without spending a lot. All you need is a bike and a sense of
adventure, and now you can ride more easily thanks to EurekaBike's "For Free" section.
5. How many ads can I post on EurekaBike?
Private users can have up to 30 active ads, but this does not include ads marked as "For Free"
If you are a business, you can create up to 50 ads with the basic plan (€250/year). The
EurekaBike business seller has no posting limits if they choose the full plan (€500/year). We
ask all advertisers to avoid duplicating ads for the same product to maintain an optimal
browsing experience for all users.
6 Are there any fees when I sell a product on EurekaBike?
No! When you sell on EurekaBike, you keep 100% of the proceeds. It doesn't matter if you're a
private seller or a business seller. We know how important it is for bike shops to maintain their
margins, and we apply the same principle to private sellers. This also ensures maximum
transparency for the buyer. The price you see is the price you pay.
7. How long does a listing stay online?
Each listing stays online for 12 months. We want to allow our users to keep their items for sale
as long as necessary. You will receive an email notification before the listing expires, with the
option to renew it for free. To increase your chances of selling, we recommend uploading
high-quality photos of the product, writing a detailed and accurate description, and including
all relevant technical specifications. A clear and complete presentation attracts more
interested buyers.
8. Can I modify or delete a listing after it’s been posted?
Yes, you can modify or delete your listing at any time from your personal area. Just log in to
your account and select the listing you want to update or remove.
9. How can I contact the seller of a listing?
Contacting the seller is done directly by the buyer, according to the contact methods chosen
by the seller. To sell on EurekaBike, it is mandatory to provide an email address, through which
buyers can reach out. The seller also has the option to provide their phone number, allowing
contact via phone or WhatsApp. We do not currently offer an internal messaging service, but
we are working on implementing one in the future.
10. Does EurekaBike offer purchase protection?
EurekaBike is a marketplace that connects buyers and sellers. We recommend using secure
payment methods and being cautious during transactions. EurekaBike is not responsible for
any transactions facilitated through the platform. In the future, we may offer a purchase
protection service, but for now, enjoy the platform's simplicity and immediacy, while being
mindful of the person you're dealing with, as you would if they were someone you met in
